Oman Embassy Attestation Procedure :-
For Educational Documents
Process 1:
- Attestation from the State Education Department (HRD only) of concerned state;
- Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Process 2 (Case Specific):
- Attestation from the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), New Delhi;
- Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
For Non-Educational Documents
Process 1:
- Attestation from the State Home Department of respective state;
- Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Process 2 (Case Specific):
- Attestation from the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), New Delhi;
- Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
For Commercial Documents
Process 1:
- Attestation from the Chamber Of Commerce;
- General Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
- Attestation from Oman Embassy/Consulate.
Following documents are required for Attestation of educational and personal documents:
- Original degree certificate to be Apostille
- One clear photocopy of the passport
In the case of Commercial Document Attestation, following documents are required to be submitted:
- Original documents duly attested by the respective Chamber of Commerce under the name and designation seal of the Attesting Officer and the seal of the Chamber of Commerce
- One clear photocopy of all the documents;
- One Covering Letter addressed to the Embassy/Consulate.
