Taiwan Embassy Attestation Procedure :-

For Educational Documents

Process 1:

  • Attestation by the State Education Department (HRD only) of respective state
  • Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
  • Attestation from Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center.    

Process 2 (Case Specific):

  • Attestation from the Home Department of Maharashtra State;
  • Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
  • Attestation from Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center.

For Non-Educational Documents

Process 1:

  • Attestation by the State Home Department of respective state;
  • Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
  • Attestation from Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center.  

Process 2 (Case Specific):

  • Attestation from the Home Department of Maharashtra State;
  • Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
  • Attestation from Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center.

For Commercial Documents

  • Attestation by the Chamber of Commerce;
  • Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
  • Attestation from Taiwan Economic & Cultural Center.

Following documents are required for Attestation of educational and personal documents:

  • Original documents to be attested;
  • One clear photocopy of the passport;

In the case of Commercial Document Attestation, following documents are required to be submitted:

  • Original documents duly attested by the respective Chamber of Commerce under the name and designation seal of the Attesting Officer and the seal of the Chamber of Commerce;
  • Embassy’s fees per document as determined by them after checking the documents
