Oman Embassy Attestation Procedure :-

For Educational Documents

Process 1:

  • Attestation from the State Education Department (HRD only) of concerned state;
  • Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Process 2 (Case Specific):

  • Attestation from the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), New Delhi;
  • Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

For Non-Educational Documents

Process 1:

  • Attestation from the State Home Department of respective state;
  • Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Process 2 (Case Specific):

  • Attestation from the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), New Delhi;
  • Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

For Commercial Documents

Process 1:

  • Attestation from the Chamber Of Commerce;
  • General Attestation from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);
  • Attestation from Oman Embassy/Consulate.

Following documents are required for Attestation of educational and personal documents:

  • Original degree certificate to be Apostille
  • One clear photocopy of the passport

In the case of Commercial Document Attestation, following documents are required to be submitted:

  • Original documents duly attested by the respective Chamber of Commerce under the name and designation seal of the Attesting Officer and the seal of the Chamber of Commerce
  • One clear photocopy of all the documents;
  • One Covering Letter addressed to the Embassy/Consulate.
